EMDR Therapist

Katie Corrigan is the EMDR Therapist at CAST Centers, working with clients to build resiliency and begin the process of healing past traumas. Katie is a licensed psychotherapist who specializes in working with trauma, anxiety and career related issues. In addition to being trained in Attachment-Focused EMDR - a powerful evidence-based therapy for processing trauma - she integrates the Trauma Resiliency Model into her work to help clients develop skills to manage the physical symptoms of trauma and anxiety.

Katie made the jump from a career in marketing and entertainment to psychotherapy seven years ago. She completed her Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University and went on to complete her training at The Southern California Counseling Center, one of the city's most renowned training sites, where she graduated from their intensive trauma training program. In addition to maintaining a private practice in both Beverly Hills and Playa Vista, she has previously worked as a staff therapist at both The Sexual Recovery Institute and Malibu Vista, providing her with a depth of knowledge in the treatment of sex and love addiction, trauma and mood disorders.
