Mike Kroener was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He came to Los Angeles in 2011 to achieve sobriety for himself. After two years of sobriety, Mike realized he has a gift and passion for helping others struggling with addiction. Mike has a unique ability to relate to his clients, thereby helping clients process the variety of feelings common to early recovery. Mike also has experience managing and facilitating behavioral modification groups. He started working for CAST in 2015, as a resident advisor. Currently, he also serves as a sober companion. Outside of his work in recovery, Mike enjoys music and sports. Mike participates in different intramural sports leagues around the city and enjoys playing music with friends. He is currently enrolled in a Certified Alcohol and Drug Councilor (CADC) program.
