Mike Rizzo: Clinical Program Director (LMFT, CSAC)

Clinical Program Director

Mike has worked in the substance use field since 2002. He previously worked at the Los Angeles LGBT Center as the Manager of Addiction Recovery Services/Crystal Meth Recovery Services, and as the Program Director for Alternatives and Rainbow Bridge Community Services.

Mike received his certification as a Drug & Alcohol Counselor from LA City College, and holds his B.A. in Liberal Arts from Salem State University. He received his Master’s in Psychology from Antioch University.

Mike serves on several crystal meth work groups and advisory boards. He has been both a featured speaker and panelist in various town hall meetings throughout the country. Mike’s work within the mental health and LGBT recovery community has been featured in various mainstream publications, including GQ Magazine, The Advocate, KCET and KCRW.
